WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?
A clinical health science  and profession of trained ,registered and licensed to rehabilitate ,and improve lives of people with movement disorders by using evidence based natural methods such as exercises, motivation and adaptive equipment.

A clinical process of evaluating ,diagnosing and treating a range of diseases, disorders and disabilities with physical means namely Electrotherapy,  Cryotherapy,  STM, Therapeutic exercises and Hydrotherapy

WHO IS A PHYSIOTHERAPIST
This is a  Health professional trained to asses and treat various conditions that affect the physical functions of children, adults and mental retarded, also referred to as MOVEMENTS SPECI

GOAL
Regain JROM, prevent further damage/disability –RAISING THE LEVEL OF FUNCTIONALITY AND INDEPENDENCE

Physiotherapy like any other profession is dynamic and hence need of continuous professional development (CPD) counter irrelevancy and Burn out.

Compliancy to UN Convention on RTs of persons with disability(PWDs),The constitution, and The Disability ACT 2003 i.e. DISABILITY MAINSTREAMING

ACCESABILITY-The county has 34 physiotherapists rendering services. Outreach services are done in collaboration with the main rehabilitation partner- APDKNAKURU Branch
