The County Public Service Board of Nakuru invites applications from suitable and qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill the following vacant positions:

1). REGISTERED NURSES

Terms of Service: A Non-Renewable Term of Seven (6) Months Contract

Remuneration : Gross salary of Kshs. 30,200/= per month

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have a:-
(a) Diploma in any of the following disciples:- Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
(b) Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
(c) Valid practising licence from the Nursing Council of Kenya; and
(d) Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

The County Public Service Board of Nakuru invites applications from suitable and qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill the following vacant positions:

1). COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD – MEMBER

Terms of Service: A Non-Renewable Term of Seven (6) years Contract

Remuneration : As prescribed by Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

For appointment to this position, the Candidate must:
(a) Be a Kenyan Citizen;
(b) Be a holder of a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya. (A Masters degree will be an added advantage);
(c) Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity;
(d) Have knowledge and working experience of not less than (5) five years;
(e) Be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct;
(f) Understand the diversity within the County;
(g) Be capable to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
(h) Be visionary and strategic thinker;
(i) Be committed to be part of a team that will enable the County Government achieve her vision.

NOTE
Applicants are required to obtain the following documents from the relevant institutions to meet requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya.
(i) Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
(ii) Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
(iii) Clearance Certificate from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
(iv) Certificate of Good Conduct from Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
(v) Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Copies of valid clearance certificates must be attached to the applications.

1). COUNTY ATTORNEY; JG “T”

Terms of Service: A Non-Renewable Term of Seven (7) years

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –

  1. Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  2. Be a holder of a degree in Law from a university recognized in Kenya;
  3. Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
  4. Have had at least seven years’ relevant professional experience; and
  5. Meet the requirements of Leadership and Integrity as set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by availing the following: –
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA.
  • Clearance from EACC.
  • Clearance from HELB.

2) COUNTY SOLICITOR; J.G. ‘S’ 

Terms of Service: 5 Years Renewable Contract

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Be a holder of a degree in Law from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
  • Have had at least five years’ relevant professional experience; and
  • Meet the requirements of Leadership and Integrity as set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by availing the following: –
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA.
  • Clearance from EACC.
  • Clearance from HELB.

3) LEGAL COUNSEL; J.G. ‘R’ 

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Be a holder of a degree in Law from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • Be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
  • Have had at least three years’ relevant professional experience; and
  • Meet the requirements of Leadership and Integrity as set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by availing the following: –
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA.
  • Clearance from EACC.
  • Clearance from HELB.
  1. LEGAL CLERKS; JG ‘H’

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;
  • Be a holder of a Diploma in Law from an Institution recognized in Kenya;
  • Meet the requirements of Leadership and Integrity as set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by availing the following: –
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA.
  • Clearance from EACC.
  • Clearance from HELB.
